Hey! Thanks for stopping by. I'm a self-taught hobby photographer. I bought my first own camera about four years ago, at the moment I'm using a Nikon D3200 (which I've had for about a year now) with different lenses and macro filters. As I said, I'm self-taught and still learning. I learned some stuff from my dad and I'm learning a lot from being on deviantArt, so reviews are appreciated. I specifically like nature photography, i.e. plants and animals, and I'm currently trying to get the hang of macro photography.

On the Edge
Green grass, sun and raindrops are a great mix, because they will look fresh any time of the year.
I haven't done water drop photos in a while and I forgot how much fun it is.

I took this during the second macro workshop I took part in.

Sunny Leaf
I always hit a photography-low this time of year... It's hard to find 'happy' motives outside, with everything dying and the colors being really bleak (at least with the weather we have at the moment). I think I'll do some Christmas lights stuff again, shouldn't be hard to improve on the last ones.
So as I mentioned in my previous journal, I bought a wildlife cam.
At first I set it up in our yard for a few days, but that didn't really get me any results, except my sister dancing in front of it in her pajama.
So then I set it up somewhere deep in the nearby forest, somewhere where I could be sure that no humans would come near it. There are a lot of bomb craters in our forest from WWII, and I found one with lots of mud in it. It was very obvious that the ground around it was dug up by wild boars. So that promised some interesting pictures.
The camera did, in fact, capture wild boars almost every night, always around midnight, and I'm really happy with the results. There's also a deer on there now and then. They all always just show up in the dark, which makes it look kinda scary.
Anyway, enough talk, see for yourself:
