Survivor in a Dead Cage by Lionpelt-66 Survivor in a Dead Cage by Lionpelt-66
Bladder cherry, Chinese lantern, Japanese lantern, or Winter cherry. Whatever you'd like to call it.
Anyway, I found this in the garden these days, it 'survived' the whole winter (yeah okay it's dead, but you know what I mean).

Thanks!
Have you never seen a 'dead' one or none at all? Those are really cool plants.

Hm, I'm sure one day you'll see one. They grow in fall and are actually orange and look like little lampions. You can even eat that orange tiny fruit that's inside, but I don't like it

I wonder if they grow here? I'll have to ask my dad or look it up. What do they taste like?

I have to admit that I don't even know what they taste like...I just decided that I don't like them as a kid and I haven't tried them since. But I think they're a bit bitter probably.
